From its inception in 1912 until today, Cimbali (La Cimbali) has grown to become the largest commercial coffee machine manufacturer in the world. Cimbali has more than one hundred years of experience in designing and manufacturing some of the best coffee machines for the high-end, specialist coffee market. During this time, Cimbali has often been the first-to-market with several useful product innovations. For example, Cimbali introduced the first front-mounted groups on coffee machines and the first cup warmers. Most recently Cimbali introduced their HD system. It is a patented system which allows for a pre-set pressure profile for every group selection button. A specially designed valve regulates the water pressure during the coffee extraction stage. This means the barista can customize the profile depending on the blend, to better control the level of acidity and bitterness, thus optimizing the flavour and aroma of each blend of coffee.
Currently, their distribution network spans more than one hundred countries and some seven hundred distributors. Even-so, Cimbali remains true to its Italian roots, with production facilities in Binasco Milan, Bergamo, and Cremona producing approximately two hundred machines daily.
The Cimbali range of coffee machines includes traditional espresso machines for commercial hospitality applications such as cafes, restaurants, and hotels. Their range also includes fully automatic machines designed with smaller commercial applications in mind.
Like all good manufacturers, Cimbali also produces a complete range of accessories to complement their products. These include portafilters, group seals and filter baskets.
